Not as close to dinner time as I thought

So, my husband and I are having dinner with some friends and I thought it was time to go (so I tagged 2 less than I was supposed to on the meme, oh well).

I had wanted to blog today anyway and tell my readers that I promise to blog more regularly during the new year.  I have lots to blog about, after all—my conference in March, a new project I may be taking on, and very soon- ALA Midwinter. I am SO excited to hear the Newbery and Caldecotts announced LIVE in PERSON. I was excited to watch the streaming video of it in years past, I can only imagine how exciting it will be to be there.

And, how do I know that I can actually KEEP my resolution to blog regularly? I finally got a smaller laptop. Yes friends, my xmas gift from my husband was a ruby red 15” screen laptop. A normal person laptop! One I can take on a plane and not feel like I’m taking out my desktop.
